RESIDENTIAL/ EPOXY GARAGE FLOORS
EPOXY GARAGE FLOORS
At Goldenwest Epoxy, we specialize in transforming garage floors with our high-quality epoxy flooring solutions. With nearly a decade of experience, we have perfected the 1/4" chip flake system, a popular choice for its durability and aesthetic appeal. Our process typically involves three steps: preparation on the first day, epoxy installation (with chip flake) on the second day, and sealing on the third day.
The chip flake not only enhances the look of the floor but also improves traction and durability. You can walk on the floor the day after installation and drive on it the day after that. Additionally, we offer upgrade options such as a second coat of Polyaspartic sealer or a "Multi-Chip" broadcast for added depth and character. While efflorescence or vapor damage can sometimes occur, we can often address these issues during the epoxy installation process, ensuring a smooth and beautiful finish for your garage floor.

EFFLORESCENCE/ VAPOR DAMAGE
Efflorescence is a common issue where water vapor tries to push up through the concrete slab. While we always use Vapor Block Epoxy to prevent this, there are instances where additional steps are necessary. In cases of severe efflorescence or vapor damage, we may need to repair the slab, waterproof it, and then proceed with the epoxy installation process. You can find more information about this on our "Repair" page.
Our team is experienced in dealing with these challenges, ensuring that your garage floor not only looks great but also functions optimally for years to come.
